BIOGRAPHY:
Mr. Woodward has been with the firm since prior to his bar admittance and has been a partner since 2006. Historically, Mr. Woodward's practice has always been very heavily focused on construction law issues. In 2007, Mr. Woodward received Board Certification from the Florida Bar as a Specialist in construction law.

Mr. Woodward has experience representing contractors, owners, design professionals and developers in a myriad of disputes, including claims regarding design errors and omissions, delay and acceleration damages, bond disputes (statutory public works bonds, private bonds and federal Miller Act), lien claims, professional negligence, construction and material defects, personal injuries and wrongful death. Such disputes have involved the design and/or construction of projects such as airports, theme parks, condominiums, university buildings, public schools, homes, highways, bridges, retirement communities, retail developments, underground utilities and water reservoirs. Mr. Woodward frequently lectures to groups of contractors, design professionals, developers and attorneys regarding Florida's construction lien law, effective use of key contract provisions, and various elements of construction risk management. He has also served as an adjunct professor to the University of South Florida's College of Civil Engineering where he taught a course on construction law.

Mr. Woodward often leaves the coat and tie behind on weekends. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his wife, Kimberly, and their three children, Lorelei, Connor, Claire.
